Estate Sales
Designs by Cec pays attention to detail and curating spaces for a boutique environment that gets customer praise at every sale. People love coming to our sales!
Every home is different, and we have a concierge of service offerings to fit your home’s needs.
Step 1 – The Consultation:
A free consultation with a walkthrough at your home where we discuss your estate sale, your unique needs, and your questions. This meeting will establish service offerings, an estimate of fees, and a schedule.
Step 2 – The Estate Sale:
Provide a contract including an fees, calendar dates, and any special considerations discussed during the walkthrough
Organize and curate items to ensure optimal presentation for the estate sale
Evaluate collectibles and furnishings for optimal pricing and selling
Advertise the estate sale with website(s), social media, distribution lists, and signs
Conduct the sale
Step 3 - Post-sale Service Offerings:
We can ensure the balance of items will be processed for donations (if applicable) by working with multiple charities.
We can box and pack items that can be donated, ensure donations are picked up in a timely manner, and provide donation slips. There may be items remaining that are not able to be donated, and we can contract with a company for those removals and/or disposals. If you would like to have a final “broom” clean of the home, we can also arrange that service.
Final Step:
You will receive your statement, donation slip(s), and your check.
